The cabbage was good the noodles were way overcooked and soft the curry goat needs some seasoning I was told to try this place I wanted do try a spot so I wouldn’t always have too cook my food while at work but it need seasoning it was tender but it taste like nothin but curry powder
Stopped by for the first time and picked up some Stew Chicken Rotti. Absolutely delicious! The two young ladies behind the counter were warm and friendly. Definitely will be back to try other things on the menu. Stay tuned 😬
I’ve eaten here twice and I’m actually on my way back here now. The food is amazing and best in town. Get anything it’s delicious!!! Sailfish and bake. Curry shrimp or Curry chicken at 10 Am like myself with some plantain porridge
This place is a really clean and cute spot with delicious Guyanese cuisine. I especially enjoy the jerk chicken, cow heel soup and curry goat meals! Those are my go to. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming as well!
I had an amazing experience at Caribbean Queen in East Orange! The young lady who helped me was truly exceptional—her customer service was warm, welcoming, and full of grace. I ordered the bake and saltfish with the works, and it was absolutely delicious—seasoned to perfection and full of flavor. A real taste of the islands! Highly recommend.
The service was welcoming & friendly. The place looked clean like brand new. It's small so I suggest take out over eating in and parking is hard to find, but the food makes it worth it. Simply delicious! A great little spot they have over there on Park Avenue in East Orange.
The other day I tried, Caribbean Queen Cuisine, for lunch. It was absolutely delicious! I had ordered their Large Oxtail Dinner w/ Collard Greens & Rice and Peas. I asked for more veggies than rice and the lady who took my order happily obliged. I was honestly really surprised by how good their oxtails were. They were extremely tender, had great flavor, and they give you a really decent portion size. I regrettably also added some Mac n Cheese to go with my order. Their Mac n Cheese is 🔥 Typically when you get Mac from a Caribbean place it’s literally just Cheese and Noodles baked together. It’s called Macaroni Pie. Caribbean Queen Cuisine, makes some pretty dang decent Mac n Cheese! It’s creamy and the noodles have a great texture. The lady who took my order was extremely attentive and was really nice and friendly. I have tried their Stew Chicken Dinner as well and their Beef Patties too. All were delicious! I’d highly recommend, Caribbean Queen Cuisine, to anyone in the East Orange area, and happen to be wanting some flavorful and reasonably priced Caribbean food.
I enjoyed the curry and roti. Definitely tasted like home. The food was absolutely delicious. It was filled with lots of flavors. The customer service was amazing. I love the friendly and warm atmosphere the girl created. This is definitely my new go to spot for real Guyanese/ Caribbean food.
